While no woman wants to have her skirt blown up thanks to a gust of wind, this is particularly true for A-listers and members of the royal family who often have photographers nearby to capture their every move. Thankfully though, the female members of the royal family have come up with a nifty trick to stop this happening — and we are copying it immediately. According to etiquette expert Myka Meier , royals choose undergarments with plenty of static so that their skirts and dresses cling to their bodies and don't fly up. Meier added that this is a great alternative to using heavy material or weights in your clothes, which is a tactic the Queen is known to adopt: "If you do not use weights or heavy weighted material, you make sure it will not fly up by wearing undergarments that keep the fabrics connected to your body. The Queen's dressmaker has said in the past that the monarch opts for the weight technique to ensure she never accidentally reveals more leg than she would want to.
