As kids enter their teen years, they might lose interest in physical activity. Between school, homework, friends, and even part-time jobs, they're juggling a lot of interests and responsibilities. But regular physical activity can help your teen feel more energetic, improve focus and attention, and promote a better outlook. And regular physical activity can help your child maintain a healthy weight and prevent heart disease, diabetes, and other medical problems later in life. Physical activity guidelines for teens recommend that they get 1 hour or more of moderate to strong physical activity daily.

To our valued Teen Fitness Program participants, We have made the difficult but important decision to not offer our free Teen Fitness program this summer. Teens across the country can typically access our Clubs, free of charge, for the months of July and August. The decision was therefore not made lightly, but was made for two key reasons: Firstly, because we need to restrict the capacity and the number of total workout hours in each Club, we will not be able to intake the additional volume of teens booking in workouts. We typically welcome over 40, teens to our Clubs each summer, and that additional volume is not feasible under the current reopening protocols. Secondly, we need to ensure we stay very focused on reopening Safe Clubs across the country when the time is right in each province.
